SANGAY [ HEAD - ECB ]

I have M.Sc. (Natural Resources) from the University of New England, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia; where I studied “Tiger (Panthera tigris) and its Conservation Efforts in the Kingdom of Bhutan” for Masters Degree.”

Having worked as a Coordinator for Tiger Conservation Program at the erstwhile Nature Conservation Division for last 12 years (1996- 2008), large mammalian carnivores ecology (particularly human-large carnivore conflict) and habitat are my passionate subject.

Currently, I am studying movement ecology of our national animal - Takin (Budorcas taxicolor whitei) at the University of New England, Armidale, NSW, Australia.  The study site is in Jigme Dorji National Park, northwestern part of the country.
