I have a postgraduate study in Geographical Information Science from University of Queensland, Australia and undergraduate study in Bsc. Forestry (Hons), from Dr.Y.S.Parmar University, India.

On completion of my undergraduate study, I joined the institute as lecturer in 2006. Currently, I am a module tutor of Forest Survey and Mapping. My primary project involves the examination of climate change impact on ecosystem through satellite images and GIS modeling. In addition, I am also involved in examining the snow cover dynamic of Bhutan through MODIS snow cover data.

I am primarily interested in application of GIS and RS technology in environmental management. The development of an information system on natural resources, as well, adds up to my interest.
