WANGCHUK DORJI [ DEPUTY CHIEF FORESTRY OFFICER ]


Personal Summary: 
After completing two years Rangers’ Course (1995-1997) from North East Forest Rangers’ College (NEFRC), Jalukbari, Assam, India, I joined the government service under Department of Forest and Park Services as Range Officer. I worked as Range Officer for eight years under Lhamoy Zingkha Range, Sarpang Division and as a Dean for Student and Training Affairs for four years. Recently (July 2017) I have been posted to Tiger Project under Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environmental Research (UWICER) as Deputy Chief Forestry Officer. Moreover, I have been involved in teaching for certificate course in Conservation, Environment and Forestry Studies since 2008.

2. Postgraduate Diploma in Participatory Forest Management, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand (2007-2008)
