Personal Summary: 
After completing two years Rangers’ Course (1995-1997) from North East Forest Rangers’ College (NEFRC), Jalukbari, Assam, India, I joined the government service under Department of Forest and Park Services as Range Officer. I worked as Range Officer for eight years under Lhamoy Zingkha Range, Sarpang Division. 
I have been working in Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment as Associate Lecturer since 2005.

1. M.Sc. Resource Conservation, The University of Montana, USA (2009-2011)
2. Postgraduate Diploma in Participatory Forest Management, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand (2007-2008)
3. Higher Standard Certificate (Diploma) from North East Forest Rangers’ College, Jalukbari, Guwahati, Assam, India (1995-1997)

Courses Taught:

I have been involved in teaching following modules for the one year certificate course in Conservation, Environment, and Forestry Studies. Currently I teach Forest Law and Administration module.

1. Disappearing tradition of transhumance and change in mind-set of rural   communities after developmental activities
2. Opportunities and Constraints to Community Forests for Local Income Generation and Livelihood: A Case Study of Four Community Forests in Bumthang District, Bhutan (M.Sc. Thesis)
3. Rural-Urban migration of Merak & Sakteng, Trashigang Dzongkhag (Future Plan) 

4. Injustice and equity in resource allocation for community forestry (Future Plan) 

5. Contribution of community forestry to protected area management (Future Plan)
